Large Vistosi glass light (Italy, 1950's)

absolutely wonderful pendant light consisting of well over a 100 handblown glass disks. The frame is completely closed and packed with over 15 rows of Murano disks. Each disk is different in a range of red, brown and yellow coloring with a spectacular pearl-shell glow over it when you look at it at. Measurements: diameter about 48cm (19"), hangs on a chain from the ceiling. The light comes from a castle in France and is obviously older than most other Vistosi Murano glass lights in this style; very rare piece to find and a real eyecatcher.
